During 2021, Crater Training Center, a Belgrade based school focused on VFX and Game Art, has delivered a comprehensive Unreal Engine course to 45 university professors, for free.

Train the Trainers course was designed to suit the needs of professors teaching in a variety of fields, ranging from computer science and mathematics, all the way to graphic design and applied arts. Throughout the course, participants acquired the necessary knowledge and skills to use Unreal Engine 4. They were trained to create interactive content primarily for video game development, but also in animation, architecture, and the development of interactive applications.

3Lateral team supported the Crater Training Center in applying for Epic MegaGrant; the grant enabled preparation and delivery of three free course iterations and hardware upgrades to support live classroom experience for Unreal Engine

This is an education initiative with high impact - professors that went through this course educate around 1200 students each year. Delivering content inline with future industry needs, sparking greater enthusiasm for Unreal Engine and establishing the foundations of the local Unreal Engine community are core values that made this initiative stand out.
